A monster stalks the unwary on the foggy streets of San Francisco. A serial killer disguised as an ordinary, everyday, unremarkable man.

The Protector has returned to the city by the bay. She provides benediction to her murdered kin—the young mother killed while protecting her child from the monster. The Protector walks through the city in the form of an unremarkable woman, but she is far from unremarkable, and she is definitely not human.
She is vengeance. She is retribution. She is a being of power and fur and teeth, and she will not rest until she takes revenge for the murder of her kin.
