It’s been fifteen months since the Cataclysm, when that gang of idiots broke the bonds between the planes and magic flooded the world.
I’ve read the reports. Saw snatches of the documentary. They thought they were doing everyone a favor. They were dreamers, believing that it would be neat if everyone could perform magic. Real magic. Rainbows and unicorns for all.
Fools hadn’t thought it all the way through.
Because along with the magic came the nightmares.
Werewolves. Ghosts. Zombies. Vampires.
And even worse—fire dragons.
